OT Trip Report & Photos > Central Europe Part 2
Greetings
For now, just going to try to get some images up with a few comments and will hopefully fill in more TR details later via edit function.
It's been a very busy summer - that's why Part 2 is long time coming and why I haven't been around here in general.
On the way from Salzburg to Munich.
Munich
Our hotel was right near the Viktualienmarkt - lotsa cool stuff to be had, included a small beer garden.
The Englischer Garten = larger, better version of any USA urban park I've ever been to, complete with a huge beer garden and the young Germans who "surf" the stream of water that rushes down into the city from the mountains and out a viaduct.
Lotsa folks out enjoying the great weather.
Munich Beer Haus
We took a day trip out to the beautiful Bavarian countryside. Here are a couple shots. Will add more later (plus Prague yet to come).
Prague teaser - that place makes you take way too many photos LOL (plus, beer is cheaper than water!)

Thank you for posting! We haven't traveled in Europe...yet...so I am totally enjoying these pictures and report. The pretzel in that one picture looks enormous - perhaps its just the camera angle, or are they really that huge?

More memories of our trip! We missed seeing the river. We had seen it on Rick Steves but forgot to look at it! I loved the outdoor market there! Can't wait to read your third installment!
