...getting ready to drive down that hill right now. How about, you?

My guess is way out toward the East, down to the South, past the paved end of 107, but I am a little lost myself!
Two bays with the same name are ahead, if I am correct!

South shore at the top of the hill headed toward the Lameshurs. Big is first.

Ah ha, that's why I felt lost. Never made it past Salt Pond.
But would love to put it on my 'to do' list for next spring! Thanks for the inspiration.

Of course, once you get down there you gotta get out of the car, get wet, have a nice, cool, tasty beverage, read some of that beach read book that you brought, have a snack, have another tasty beverage, if the mood strikes. Now get up, take an easy walk on the trail between the two bays. It's called the Yawzi Point Trail. It's easy with great views to the left of you, great views to the right of you, and you're right in the middle with you. Looking back towards Little Lameshur Beach looks something like this:

What do you think?

Or maybe take the short walk up to the ruins at the far end of the beach. Yep, I sure wish I was there, but aren't pictures wonderful memory boosters?
