My Grandparents lived in a rural town in Illinois where stories about people having company over at their house made the news.
It sure is a lot better than hearing the Chicago news about the numbers of shootings/murders each day.

They tell who wins at the local bridge club. We get the biggest laughs reading it every week.

We always have our fingers crossed that we didn't do anythng 'exciting' enough to make the paper.
