We are leaning toward Palm Vista.

Anyone have any other suggestion in the $3500 or less range?

We initially booked Easy Breezes. However, we cancelled it due to pricing issues and budgets. The neighboring villa so close also scared me off. The owner also seems to be raising the rate as we "booked" at a lower rate, but it was switched after we booked as our rate was too low according to manager and owner. The villa looks beautiful, but glad we moved onto something more affordable.

I stayed at Viaggi when it was Golden Dragon. Things I liked: the pool, the kitchen, the bathroom, the easy parking, the stonework.

Things I disliked: the floors were very slippery when wet. The beds were extremely uncomfortable (from looking at the pictures it looks like the new owners kept the old frames but replaced the mattresses so this might not be a problem anymore). The view, while nice, was not my favorite. I prefer the higher up views to valley/bay views. And the most annoying thing: the majority of the house was locked off. We were not allowed to choose the bedroom we wanted to stay in. One of the bedrooms that was locked off had a very nice view and that was the room we would have chosen if given the chance to do so. This is the only house I have ever rented that was like that. Again, new owners, so maybe that is not how they do it anymore, but I would ask.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
