Trip Report - July 6-13 - Villa Amora (Part 2)

We really liked Villa Amora. It was about 3 blocks to town, but at the top of a steep hill. It took 5-10 minutes to walk to town, but a little longer to get back because it was all up hill. We walked to town at least 3 or 4 times. The villa has two good sized bedrooms upstairs with views of the ocean, but the two downstairs were smaller and had no views. All of the bedrooms had ac, but there was no ac in the living room and kitchen. Three of the bedrooms had connecting bathrooms, but one of the bedrooms downstairs had a hall bathroom, so that couple had to leave their room to get to the bathroom. We charged the couples downstairs less money and they said they were fine with that. We offered to change rooms halfway through, but they were satisfied with their rooms. The villa had a small pool that had a ocean view. We saw iguanas, chickens, a lot of lizards, four green parrots, and a peacock while sitting out at the pool. We used the pool almost every evening.
