Looking for a pic of soggy dollars hanging on the line

Post by GraysonDave »

It's one pic we failed to take on our trip, and my wife is sad because she wanted to scrapbook it. Anybody got one?

It's not great, but here's one:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/42427255@N00/2505976835/" title="Soggy Dollars by Vicki_H, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3089/250 ... 8d46f4.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Soggy Dollars"></a>

That's the problem with showing up at the Soggy Dollar at 9:00 am to start drinking. Yours is the first dollar!

I'm sure someone on here kind find you a better one, but maybe this will get the ball rolling...

My problem with Soggy's is when he said the line with dollars hanging, I thought, "What line? What dollars?" lol.

Here's another...not too many dollars, and yet it was lunch time! I didn't remember there being a 'line' to dry the dollars, either, until I saw Vicki's picture and thought, "I have a picture like that!".

Thanks for the help! I also found these two on their facebook page. I think my wife can find something to use. But I was hoping to tell her we had to go back again to get the shot.

Funny thing, I have never gotten my money wet, since we have almost always come on the ferry.

Next time I buy a drink from Mic, I am walking down to the water and giving it a good dunking before handing it over to him  8)
*Another fine scatterbrained production

The last time I swam in I so classily put a credit card in my bathing suit top. Not as fun as soggy dollars, but the thought of limitless painkillers did make it worth it. ;) ;)

I feel like I have taken a picture of behind the bar at Soggy Dollar every time I've been there, and yet, I cannot find one. Clearly my priorities have been... different.

I say you have to go back. There is nothing like your own photo of your own dollar. :)

You know what...I think my wife took most of the pictures at Soggy Dollar. The only ones I know I took were of her and the drinks/food. Well there might have been a few candid shots of folks I don't know and knew I'd never remember! I decided against swimming to the boat with my souvenir cups...besides the kids didn't need to know how many Dad had! But they can rest assured I won't catch scurvy.
