One night stay on STJ then off to Jost-Where would you stay?

Post by adsjayhawk »

Hi All

Planning an surprise anniversary trip in May. We get in on a Saturday and could stay on STT or STJ. Prefer STJ. We would get in around 4pm and leave on the morning ferry to Jost at 8:30am, so only a few hours  on STJ. Good news is we are back for two weeks in July :D

Where would you stay for the night???

If you choose St. John for your night, your options are somewhat limited because many places have a 3 night minimum. Places I've found that accept one night stays are Gallows Point, Westin and Coconut Coast studios. Smaller places will charge a "maid fee" for visits less than 3 nights, so be prepared.

We stayed one night at the St. John Inn before moving into a villa.

The rates are very reasonable and it includes continental breakfast.

They didn't have a minimum stay requirement in the off-season.

I would stay at the BW Emerald Beach, its right by the airport and you could grab some beach time and a drink to start your trip. We always come down a day early and stay here for 1 night when we bring the kids to break up the travel. Their restaurant also has a nice breakfast buffet to enjoy before leaving for Jost. Just an idea, I love St. John but I would rather relax then go through all that travel for 1 night and you could still take the ferry over to St. John if you get bored on Jost,it run Fri,Sat& Sun

We are staying one night on St. John after our sailing trip in May. The only place I have found that doesn't require a 3 night stay is the Westin. We booked a room but I am still looking for other options.

Call Lavender Hills. They usually have a few units open. I have seen people stay there one night. That time of year I think the rate is 195

One night? I'd stay at Crystal Palace or Olga's on St.Thomas.
