This second one is EARLY morning and what I have found is that you have no one on the beach, but the color isn't as good and it was hazy.
I love yours CG!

So far, the best one posted is the first one. There are no people on the beach and the colors are perfect.

The best one, for me though, is the one in my mind, of the moment you make that turn, have the wind in your hair, the scent of the ocean rushing through the Jeep as you catch a glimpse of the beach from the over look. Sometimes, the memory of it is more spectacular than the actual photo.

Zoom using some trees for framing probably while standing on the wall to the right side of the overlook - morning light

I ran a search of my photos and apparently I only took the overlook shot once, in 2005. :?

Not very exciting, but I am enjoying all of yours!

From April 2007. My desktop background, and most people that see it, ask where it is and thinks it's just beautiful.

I was shooting at the overlook where everybody takes the shot from. It was early and no one else was there yet.Image

I don't have one, because that's where the crazy lady who wasn't on island time yelled at us for taking too long to take pictures!

I'll get one next time, I promise!

It took me a while to find the one that I actually took and it's not very good. I have several great Trunk Bay pictures saved on my computer that you guys have taken. Here is mine:(The sky wasn't too clear, and apparently I cut off the beach  )

Will Kauai make me feel the same way I feel when I look at these (or any other photos of the beauty of St. John)

Hmmm. I only have the old fashioned "print" kind. Guess we didn't stop the last few times.

I'll remedy that in November.

Not sure why, but this late afternoon shot has become my favorite.
