Carnival question
This will be our first taste of Carnival. Where is the best place to sit and watch the parade? Where do people park? Thanks

Re: Carnival question
We are in the same boat - we've never been on island during Carnival.
I'm embarrassed to admit it - I didn't realize it was Carnival starting on Friday until the other day. If anyone has any tips, thoughts, suggestions, etc. re Carnival, would love to hear them.

Regarding the parade, be aware it never starts on time. Nowhere near on time. The schedule says 11:00am, plan for closer to 1:00. Parking is always a big challenge. You can try to park in the gravel lot near the tennis courts and walk into town.
Festival village is a great time each night. The food and drink vendors, and the music make for a very cool experience.
On the 4th of July, plan to get to the beach in Cruz Bay well before sunset to claim a spot to sit and watch the fireworks over the water.
