Someday Isle had a beautiful salt water pool last time we stayed there. It has sold since then, so I don't know what they may have changed.

On a Clear Day has a saltwater pool

I am pretty sure Maison Miele is saltwater too.

FWIW, the salt concentration in "salt water pools" is ten times less than that of the ocean. It's there to allow chlorine to be made by electrolysis, rather than by adding it via slow-dissolving tablets. I'm considering switching from tablets to salt water chlorine generators at our pools, since they avoid the build-up over time of components of chlorinating tablets. The ocean is 3.5% salt, while salt water pools are maintained at 0.35%. On the other extreme, I've swum in the Dead Sea, which is ten times saltier than sea water, at 34% salt. It was an effort to dive under there, and with a lot of alkali along with the salt, you sure don't want to get any in your mouth.

All the best,

Kevin

At Sunset Ridge we've also switched to over from chlorine tablets to a chlorine generator. While the pool water is slightly saline, it nothing like the ocean and the pool seems much cleaner and easier to maintain.
