I sent Ms. Nicholson-Doty a thank you email the day that the sign was removed. I agree that she did seem to truly care. Her replies to my emails were all very kind and thoughtful. :)

She also thanked her colleague, Commissioner Smalls, at the Dept. of Public Works for assistance in addressing the removal.
