Verizon update?

Any news as to when or if the new tower will be up and running?

As long as they charge $1.95 a minute for usage, I'll go with AT&T.

If the tower is on St. John or St. Thomas and we can pick it up, our regular plan should cover it... Right? That would be great, we just spent bucks to activate our go phone.
Still better than international rates!
Where is the new tower suppose to be?

I don't believe there is a new tower. Local moratorium on building them.
IF Verizon has plans it is likely they will hang their equipment
on one of the existing towers.

My work cell has Verizon service. It sort of works in Cruz Bay, but is marginal at best on Gifft Hill (despite line of sight to STT), and most anywhere else.

All the best,

If you have a signal, it can be amplified wi. a cell signal booster.
