Help choosing a villa for May 2013
Help choosing a villa for May 2013
Our group has 4 couples and two 4 year olds, so our villa needs to be child friendly. A pool and AC in the bedrooms are a must. A hot tub would be nice, but not required. We are thinking about Oceana (a little expensive for our group), Villa Rendezvous, Ciellodonna, and Coco Caribe. Our dates are May 4-11. Any comments on which villa would be best for our us? Any other recommendations? One couple is celebrating a delayed honeymoon, so they would probably like their room away from the kids. We stayed at La Bella Vita last year and loved it, but it has a maximum of 8 people. Thanks in advance!

Look at Crystal Seaview or Vista Caribe(Catered To), La Papaya (Destination St. John) or Jazz Villa

I have stayed at Crystal Seaview many times over the last few years. It is a beautifully decorated villa in Chocolate Hole. Great place. Have fun.

Check out "Blue Agave" in Chocolate Hole, here is the link, http://www.vrbo.com/240912. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are very private, it has a lovely pool but no hot tub, easy access to town, easy driveway, ac in all of the bedrooms. We stayed here in June and loved it. Good luck with your search.
Re: Help choosing a villa for May 2013
Thank you! We looked at Crystal Seaview, but I thought it has 3 master suites two of which have connecting rooms with twin beds (for a total of 5 bedrooms). Is this correct? We need 4 master suites or nice rooms with either a sleeper sofa in at least one room (preferably two rooms) for the kids or a 5th bedroom for the kids that connects to one master.
Blue Agave is only for 8 people. Will they allow 10 if two of them are kids? Does it have a bedroom with a sleeper sofa?
Has anyone stayed at Ciellodonna or Villa Rendezvous? Thanks so much!

I don't recall if the couch is a sleeper sofa, but the owner may be able to work with you because the children are small in terms of allowing more than 8 people, 3 of the bedrooms have king size beds and all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, plus a washer and dryer so pack light!

Sea shore allure has 15% off their condos in the Virgin Islands Saver. They have a pool, ac, and lots of great amenities.

Check out Blue Papaya in Virgin Grand Estates. It has four gorgeous bedrooms and one of then has an attached "sitting room" with two day beds. The only problem is that it's on the same level as the pool with an door to the pool deck so you'd have to make sure you keep the 4 yrs olds from opening the door when no one was looking. You can probably lock it to prevent that, but I'd ask the rental agency to verify or bring one of those portable alarms for the door.

Blue Papaya is perfect! Thank you. We stayed at La Bella Vita in Virgin Grand last year and loved it. Thanks again for the help.
