Abacos Bahamas

Post by Connie »

Has anybody been? We originally thought we would like to go to Eluthera, but it seems pretty remote to us....meaning hard to get food or go out to,eat if we wanted.

We wouldn't mind island hopping, but just can't figure it out.

Any suggestions?

We have stayed at Treasure Cay ,Abacos. There are very few places to go to eat out. It is extremely remote. The beach was beautiful, but had to go on boat trip to go snorkeling-not from shore. Snorkeling not as good as STJ. The islands were fun to go for a day trip. The topography is sandy and flat. We stayed in cottages right on the beach. You could walk a few feet to the beach and walk along way. Water is gorgeous. You may PM me if you have any questions. I know Marsh Harbour on Abaco has gotten a few more hotels. We went in March and weather was fabulous.
