How about Kenny Chesney's "Be As You Are" and "Lucky Old Sun"? These are 2 of my favorite CD's of all time .

Re: New music for ipod
My favorite as of late has been "Mambo Sinuendo" by Manuel Galban & Ry Cooder:

Think 1950's Cuban and surf guitar, blended. It's out there; definitely not mainstream.

I love most things Toots Hibbert does. He has a great voice. The best intro to Toots is "Funky Kingston" by Toots and the Maytals. I have one playlist on my iPod that is just Toots and Toots all the time. We've played it in the jeep coming home from Skinnys on a moon lit night along the north shore road, stopping off for a swim at Big Maho before the bugs found out we were there. (Oh, this probably belongs in another thread on this forum). Search on iTunes for Toots and the Maytals and Toots Hibbert.
PS. Willie Nelson did a duet with Toots on his "Countryman" album. The tune is "I'm A Worried Man."

Have fun. Don't you just love music?

We took Jimmy B., Marley, Chesney, Zac Brown, and Michael Buble this last trip. The mellow music was for porch sitting in the evenings. Adds a touch of romance! I MISS St. John!! Geesh!
Re: New music for ipod
Speaking of Toots and the Maytals... David Gray does this great cover... check it out!

Kassav' - start with "Best Of 20ème Anniversaire". The music is French Carribean (Zouk). It's a carnival...
