You guys are so sweet. Thank you! She is so much fun!

obsessedmuch, I know what you mean regarding "pulling off" a hat/look. Isn't that what booze is for? :)

VickiH, in your "show your face" pic, are you wearing the J. Crew straw hat? I love that hat on you? I need to check J. Crew more often!

Enjoy her now because it won't be long and you will have to lock her in the closet to keep the guy's away from that cutie.

And it won't be too long after that when she'll call you a jacka$$ for suggesting that she do homework instead of hanging out with her friends, and then point out that she is 18 and an "adult" and doesn't have to listen to you any more. :x

I'm thinking about handing her the bill for her car payment, cell phone, car insurance and room and board...

I couldn't really do that, but it's tempting.

Sorry... Bad afternoon... Please continue with your discussion of cute hats. Image

I'm sorry Ron. Maybe you could call her cell phone and leave a mean message on it! (Have you seen the celebrity news today?"

I forgot, do you wear a ball cap or just skip the hat thing?

hee hee hee! I could never do that, either.

As far as headgear, how could you forget the urban Pirate...

I always wear a hat. On the island I wore my Columbia fishing hat. Lightweight and with a flap at the back to protect my neck.

Except when snorkeling, of course. Then I went pirate.

Ron, like the urban pirate look. Did that give you the protection you needed? I have my Buff Headgear tubey thing I can wear like that. The Columbia hat looks like it would be great!

I knew you wouldn't be the type to leave a scathing voice mail for a loved one.

I love ball caps! Need that opening in back to pull all my hair through, which keeps the hair out of my way and the hat on my head. With other hats, I'm constantly fussing, but I love how they look on other people.

mary beth, I had suggested it earlier. Not seriously, though. The news reporting has been ridiculous all day!

Yep... It worked great. The old bald spot stayed burn free!

I hope I never "Go Alec" on anyone!

Hey... I think I just coined a new term :D

Kellee - Thanks for the compliment! That hat is from American Eagle - another place for great, cheap, cute hats! I know I am too old to shop there (if you are over 16, you are too old to shop there) but I do anyway.

I have a yellow Life is Good hat with a white daisy that I wear all the time. I did buy a bucket hat at the Beach Bar last week and it is the perfect floppy beach hat.
