It has been 5 years today that Laurie went to the island in the sky I hope she and all the other fromites we have lost are sitting on a beach somewhere having a drink looking down on us.

The anniversary dates are always the hardest and the days in between aren't much easier. I know she's watching over you Tom and wants all of you to go on with your lives and be happy.

I was thinking of her when we went to Hawksnest beach for the first time last June. How beautiful it was!

My thoughts are with you, right there. It has been 2 years for me now since I experienced the same pain, if not more. But that is how the cookie crumbles and life goes on.

We just have to think that they are out on the beach enjoying the sand and would just come back by the end of the day, but in reality they would not. Acceptance is such a pain but moving on is on a totally different level. They are up there, having a good life.

island in the sky... beach beyond... I love those terms! I can't imagine the pain you guys are facing, and all the others that have lost loved ones, but I am quite sure they are with you, watching from the most perfect beach ever. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
