moving to islands - visiting in next 2 months

i guess i shudda posted the message in the travel forum in here instead - but nevertheless, interested in moving to usvi or puerto rico - somewhere in the tropics, pref. u.s. territory. interested in any tips you guys can give. will be coming down in next 2 months to explore possibility; have the exciting opportunity to finally make my dream a reality - appreciate any info - tks/marcus
