donkey photos?

Post by djmom »

I am looking for hopefully someone to share with me a donkey photo that I can paint for my art class.

I'm looking for a photo of a donkey viewed from the front. I am looking for a photo where you can see some of their mane and ideally their eyes are looking down and you can see their eyelashes. And where you can see their legs all the way down to their feet. I am wanting to paint on a fairly long vertical canvas.

What I don't want is a photo of a begging donkey, that look when they are "smiling" trying to stick their heads in your jeep, the silly goofy donkey photo. I have a million of those!

Anyways, if you have one you wouldn't mind me using as a guide, please post, thank you so much in advance.

p.s. I would get one off of Google images, but in the unlikely event I would want to sell this or make prints (or notecards or something), I would need permission from the photographer.

I'm not really at that level but you never know. Who knows, I might surprise myself. I'm working on a super-cool sunflower now! I highly encourage anyone who has been thinking of learning something new to go ahead and try!

Sorry, this is sort of turning off topic....

Thanks JC, that is the exact "mood" I am looking for. I think donkeys are beautiful.

Unless someone has the perfect image, I will probably end up drawing something based on more than one photo and that first shot will be really helpful. And the second one too for that matter.

Thanks!

we're getting there! I just need all the "parts", they don't have to be one!

Do all babies have that little baldish spot on their nose where the hair parts? Or do I have a picture of the same exact baby?

thanks all, these are great.

sea-nile- yes, that's one of them silly ones! (I do love them though :D )

JMQ-I'm really drawn to the one poking his head out around the tree. I think I'm going to use that one as the inspiration...thank you so much!

And I'll stick on some legs. LOL.

Most of our photos are taken in the "drive by" mode, as Ned is sick of stopping for them. I never get tired of them.

Then again, I'm not driving.

You can try this one as well. To the disappointment of my wife, I wouldn't let these guys get their heads in the Jeep! If you like it, you can have the full-size image, which would easily be 'croppable' for more detail on the donkey.
