What the hell happened to the much touted Memphis defense? They played so undisciplined last night on both D and O it was ridiculous.
Last night confirmed once again that while its all well and good to have amazing freshmen, there is something to be said for senior guard leadership in the tournament. Exhibit A: Levance Fields of Pitt. Talk about ice water in the veins…

2 of 2 yesterday.

Today I need Louisville and Oklahoma to be 4 for 4.

I felt good for Jim Calhoun yesterday. He is a good man who has probably done more for this state (especially in terms of his philanthropic efforts) than anybody in recent memory.

The folks in CT tend to forget those things.

Well, my pool just tanked with Oaklahoma losing to NC. Can't wait til next year.

Good luck SJ. I’m probably toast in my pool with Pitt allowing that last second drive all the way into the paint - whatever happened to stop the ball or at least force it to the sideline?
And Louisville killed me too – what was Pitino thinking playing a 2-3 zone against a team that can run a high post offense like that? The Spartans have impressed me with their guard play and that motion offense they use. I assume UConn is too big for them but will be intrigued by the line on that game.
