Tonight's chicken thighs are marinating in OJ, chipotles in adobo, a little honey and CBGR. Going to throw some Calypso Sprinkle in my rice as it cooks. Sounds like I need a rum and Ting at happy hour to start my weekend. In a painted glass, of course!

And because she loved every second with every cell of her being, we couldn't leave without this:

Re: Favorite items from St John Spice
On island now, and stocked up on my fave: Cruz Bay Grill Rub. Got a couple of jars for me, as well as to bring back for friends/stocking stuffers. Also bought some nutmeg (to grate on our Painkillers in the villa) and Steve Simonsen calendars. The cute Texas gal behind the counter slipped a package of Jerk Seasoning into our bag, so now I am going to have to try that out. I am sure I will be back between now and when we leave next Tuesday...The store looks great, and we met Curly Spice (who had just returned from getting groomed, and was a little fluff-ball!) and chatted with Ruth and Ron.

I like that Spice shirt; might have to get me one. But the one I covet most is the Beach Bar tank!
Re: Favorite items from St John Spice
When we got to the Beach Bar (1st stop after getting off the ferry), I needed new t-shirts to replace the long sleeve cotton shirt, as it was chilly when I left CT. I wore the Beach Bar sleeveless shirt many days for the next 15 days... we are already plotting AND saving for our return trip.BreakawayBarb wrote:I like that Spice shirt; might have to get me one. Driving home from the airport, boo hoo, and its snowing
Favorite thing which I don't think has been mentioned are the sarongs. I love just getting up in the am and wrapping one on. They work great as a cover up, for going to the pool, for taking to the beach, for covering up in case your place isn't as private as you think!
I have a friend who's an island type, and bought ones for her and her daughter. And I bought myself a new one this year too.
