The Mongoose Lurks!

Post by vav »

They sit in the dark and watch you. You don't know they're there.

Then when you get an urge for a snack, you can't find the pretzels. You hear a smirk and when you turn around there he is, laughing at you with your multigrain deliciousness.

That's great vav! I've never seen a mongoose but I have heard to watch your food (i imagine they are like a tropical racoon, which i DO have experience with :x ) looks like the rumors are true. Thanks for sharing!

I saw that happen at Little Lameshur! And it may have happened at Waterlemon.
Sorry you lost your snack, but you got some terrific shots!

Why we hang bags in trees!! I have to say, for as much as I dislike ferrets, and as much as these guys look like them, I love these little thieves!! :D

We saw lots of Mongoose this last trip. Also, deer for the first time, about 3 sightings. And of course the occasional donkeys and goats :). No iguanas though.... I was so glad my newbie got to see some cool creatures!
Going "home" again October 26th!
