any info on that maritime Hit and run?
Just read about a boat sinking in a hit and run:
"A 31-foot fiberglass Bertram powerboat sank off Steven Cay and Mingo Rock between St. Thomas and St. John this week."

I can't quite get the setting. Mingo and Steven aren't right up close, as I recall.
Unless there's a Steven's Cay and a Steven Cay.
Any more info?

The USCG spokesmen Ricardo Castodad and Lt. Paul Rivas have stated [in todays Daily News] that the other vessel was Double Header, a commercial fishing vessel and that both boats reported the incident at the time - the fishing vessel had immediately proceeded to STT with a badly injured passenger who was rushed to the RLS Hospital - it is under investigation, not considered a hit and run, and no liability has been determined yet.
The Bertram was trying to reach port but sunk before getting to a dock, the 4 passengers were rescued by another vessel with only minor injuries.
