Mine is sitting out on the point at Sapphire, at night with my husband, with a cooler, beach chairs and my ipod, listening to some Island music. Seeing all the stars and all the lights on STJ really is something magical.

lol, I have a similar story.
There were 12 of, 3 jeeps. The older ones (us) were in one jeep and the other 2 jeeps held 20 somethings.
We missed the turn and continue to drive past the houses and actually ended up in woods. Knee high grass growing. I knew this was wrong.
Daughter's almost crying (she was the driver of one of the jeeps). She's almost hysterical thinking that we would go off a cliff into the water. I actually couldn't help myself from laughing.
We turned around, missed the turn again. We had to call a friend who lived close by and drove us to Lattitude 18. Of course, his dinner was free that night!
Lattitude 18....always an adventure!

Our first trip was an incentive trip my husband won at work. Other than the last day when we took the ferry to St. John, we never got out of Charlotte Amalie. One of our evening functions was held at St. Peter Greathouse and I have to say that even if I never got out of town, it was amazing to see Magens Bay and the other islands from the top of that mountain!
One from the 'way back machine...I was just a child, I'm amazed they even let me into the place...
Raffles Restaurant at Compass Point, with Gray-Gray-Gray playing the grand piano among all of his stuffed bears. First having their bacon-wrapped filet stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese...and then lingering over after-dinner drinks and listening to Gray do dirty Cole Porter songs - "Miss Otis Regrets" was always particularly funny...

Our first real vacation after 10 years of marrage was to St. Thomas. It was 11 years ago and I have so many favorite memories.
1. How preaty my wife is in the Islands
2. Night time at Duffys Love Shack.
3. Driving on the right side of the road when I should be on the wrong side.
4. Snorkeling for the first time
5. Secret Harbor
6. Taking the car ferry to St. John
7. Taking the People fairy at night to eat at Chateau Bordeaux
