Tuesday, October 26

Today, we decided to do the Ram Head Hike as our daily exercise and it was beautiful! Along the way we made some required stops…

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/uB ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TN8J0 ... G_0403.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

Saw some of the damage left behind by TS Otto.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Rj ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TORKi ... G_0410.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

And ran across a couple friends…

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/LZ ... site"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TN8Jx ... G_2373.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/XH ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TORK4 ... G_0439.JPG" height="400" width="300"></a>

We also stopped at Miss Lucy’s to see the sea grape tree that was damaged by the storm.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Wd ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TN8J1 ... G_0431.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

After the scenic drive, we made our way to the trail and I could definitely tell that there had been some rain from TS Otto on the hike – the trail was a bit overgrown, things were washed up on the beach and at a few points, we weren’t sure where the trail was. Despite all of that, the hike included stunning views as usual.

At the edge of Salt Pond Bay

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/2l ... site"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TORLB ... G_0449.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

At this point on the trail, we were all missing our husbands ;)!

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/a3 ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TN8J4 ... G_0475.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

Views from the top

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/in ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TN8J5 ... G_0485.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/-J ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_Xg75HwDwOEU/TORLY ... G_0489.JPG" height="300" width="400"></a>

Once we returned to our car, we needed a beverage and what could be better than a stop at the Tourist Trap??!! We were also starving so decided to try Skinny Legs. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then headed back to Grande Bay. After relaxing on the balcony for a while, we decided that tonight’s dinner would include Lobster. We don’t get that much here in Wisconsin, so this would be a special treat. We headed to Morgan’s Mango and each devoured our meals! Delicious!

Afterwards, we decided to have a few drinks at Castaways and enjoy some live music – lots of fun and some new friends later and it was time to call it a night!

Our hike to Ram Head was during the morning - so no alcohol invlolved at all! Could have been some oxygen deprivation...
