Re: WHERE is EVERYONE?
I'm an old timer. I don't post a lot, but I read the forum at least once a day. I read Vicki's travel blog at travellerspoint. I used her blog to help plan our trip to Kauai. I'm trying to get back to St John next June...just working on different scenarios.

In the planning stages...need viila help
Hey all, I'm in the planning stages for our 4th trip to St John for next June. :D We belong to Starwood and I have been able to trade our unit in Scottsdale for a unit at the Westin. One other time, we came with my sister and her husband and rented Golden Dragon. The problem is...availability at the...

Re: Need a laugh?
A guy walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink, and while he's drinking, the monkey jumps all over the place, eating everything behind the bar. Then the monkey jumps on to the pool table and swallows a billiard ball. The bartender screams at the guy, "Your monkey just ate the cue...

Re: Need a laugh?
Dear Jim Bob, I am writing this slow because I know that you can't read fast. We don't live where we did when you left home. Your dad read in the paper that most accidents happen within 20 miles from your home so we moved. I won't be able to send you the address, as the last family that lived here t...

You know you're from Texas when: You can properly pronounce Corsicana, Decatur, Wichita Falls, Burnet, Gruene, Boerne, New Braunfels, Nacogdoches, Mexia, Waco, Amarillo, and Waxahachie. You plan your Friday night after you go to the high school football game. You listen to the weather forecast befor...

36 hrs for polar bear?
We are going to Kauai in 3 weeks and I have a 48 pack cooler. I'm going to pack it tight with frozen food and layers of techni- ice. I used it last year going to the Bahamas, but it was only a 24 hour turn around with no problems. Has anyone had any experience with a full 36 hours from start to fini...

Flown Cape Air several times...They load you by your weight. They weighed us on the luggage scale. The plane has to be balanced or bad things happen. We flew at night and in the rain...that was not fun. Coming back from STT to SJU in the afternoon, it's quite bumpy because of the thermals off the la...

It's never too early to start. I've given both tests and the ACT is the easier of the two. She can keep taking them until she gets a score she likes. It's the last one she takes that counts. As stated in previous posts, there is a lot of test prep software. Just make sure she has an approved calcula...
