Excellent report Sundownlow...we love Secret Harbour also, but enjoy the oceanviews as much as a the ocean fronts. Don't mind the walk down the hill and the view is completely seaview...no trees blocking it! Will agree that the staff there is great. They all really seem to care period. Especially th...

Yesterdays Travel Weekly had an article about the incident. NCL, Princess, Royal Caribbean cancel Coki Point Beach tours. http://www.travelweekly.com/article3_ektid217426.aspx So many innocent working people depend upon the cruise ship revenue to make an honest living and this drug fueled violence n...

Susan...sorry to hear of your robbery in the out islands in the Bahamas. Yes, agree that crime is just about every where. I told my husband about this thread...he doesn't read forums, but he gave me his opinion, which is..basically, things really haven't changed all that much in the past 5 to 10 yea...

Funny story about little PA...poor little thing!!

We are Gladys fans also...esp her hot sauce. Haven't ventured in the Greenhouse as we'd heard it was overrated. Green Iguana sounds like it was neat spot!

Looking forward to more adventures with little PA!

Had the pleasure to spend this afternoon with friends...one who is a native STT islander just moved to the mainland in the last month and another who was a mainlander who moved to the islands for 10 plus years and still maintains a residence there about this latest violence in the Coki point area. C...

I was very active in a running schedule until a few years ago when I twisted an ankle while skiing. It was the beginning of my physical downfall so to speak. I've been toying with the idea of getting back into it, but haven't had the motivation. I might be ready now...what are you using for motivati...

I recommend rash guards! The dive shop in Cruz Bay has them and prices aren't too bad. The Westin Dive shop also has them. Don't stress over them, you can get them onisland if you have no time prior to leaving for shopping. Nothing is worse than having a sunburn. Except perhaps being in paradise and...

Xislandgirl... Speaking for myself only, I was agreeing with Minde and her statements...newbies are advised that islanders respond positvely to polite greetings. Some are shocked then at being treated rudely or even completely ignored. It happens. Some people take that rejection personally. Others h...

DITTO everything you just said Minde...have to say...even here in Maine...which is called "Vacationland" btw LOL...the locals don't always show those who are "from away" the love. I also don't think locals not being courteous has anything to do with NOT "getting it" eit...

I can't really remember how many meals we've had at the Lime Inn over the years. It has been and continues to be one resturant that is consistently good as far as food, value and service go. I am surprised at the attitude of the server. I guess I am more surprised that your husband did not send back...
