Second Wind, they are in St Thomas but do a lot out of Cruz Bay. Great motor yacht, rest food and first class service. Ana and Wolfgang. are owners, I know them well as I was a tenant of theirs. They also own a dive shop so you can snorkel or dive from their boat. 340-642-8701

Re: Suggestions for overnight stay on Tortola
Myetts, it is on a nice beach, has a lovely spa, great restaurant, you can sit by the beach, and wonderful people. Avoid Sebastian's on the Beach. Worse stay I have even had anywhere in the Caribbean. IF you go for a rental car, do Denzil Cline, I have rented from him since the mid 80s. Tortola has ...

We eat them here,in South Florida. A good number of restaurants in the Keys as well. We do not have the fish toxin, and most islands that serve lion fish....in the Bahamas for example do not have the toxin either. USVIs is well known for the toxin.

I am so glad I had the chance to live there, in the 90s and again in 2010 before this all started to happ...

Re: Mia or JFK
Miami is really spread out but if you land on time, an hour will work out OK for you to get to your next flight. Big if there, but I fly them a lot, out of necessity, and they are pretty good about connecting flights there.

Terribly sorry for your misfortune. A wake up call, for all though, understand that St John is a small island but not immune from any acts, criminal or otherwise.

Yes, you can cover the island and have a good time. BTW, Denzil Cline rents there, he has a place on St John. Reserve ahead of time to be safe. I rented from him as far back as the mid 1980s...

Probably, especially since around 15% of their staff has been fired/charged with theft of what they confiscate. Still, you are on island so that is a very big plus!
