The barracudas just want a little love. Once you start to scuba you will notice that there is always a barracuda hanging out by the boat just watching the divers go down and come back up again after their dive. Pretty cool!

If you're only going to snorkel, yes, fortunately, the shorter fins are better. Another thing is to get flexible ones; softer ones; since these are easier on you when you swim on the surface of the water. I dive and my stiffish long fins are great for underwater propulsion.
