We have boating experience only on Michigan inland lakes and in Lake Michigan, so we're definitely looking for optimum conditions. Don't worry at all. You can go as far as Waterlemon, as well as the cays - whistling, Henley, Lovango. I will be getting the tiller again so that we can beach. But, I will admit that the console seems a lot easier.

I guess I don't understand why all the grief. I read the article and it sounded like they were attempting to make it easier for folks with disabilities. They were aiming to make it compliant with the disabilities act, but can't see a way around having at least a few steps. What's wrong with making t...

Try the flight predictor at Bing Travel. You may not be able to get a prediction in Nov as that may be too far out but they've been spot on! Prices seem to be rising now for travel this summer so you may want to wait a bit for fall travel...even with fuel prices going up, I don't think it will be t...

Not a beach, but a snorkel of the mangroves would seem to be a must-do on that side.

You don't stand much of a chance at making that flight if you stay on STJ.

That really depends on the time of your flight. It can be very difficult to make it to the airport early in the morning. Since you said "early" I would advise you to stay on STT.

We arrive the same day as you and will be doing the same. There are 6 in our family, so carry-on only was a bit of stretch to begin with.

Short of a frontal lobotomy, no way it ever stops.

I am amazed that this simple question in this thread amounted to 3 fast pages of responses :o

Had I done my job, I would also have gotten panoramas of Gibney beach (our favorite), Dennis Beach, and of course, Cruz Bay beach (out front of the beach bar!!). Anyone want to send me down to STJ so I can finish the job right?? Ha! Nice try. You have inspired my thoughts though, and I think I will...
