just got off the phone with him -- he is closing next week and off to Puerto Rico (shortly) thereafter though not clear on the exact timing .

i took the chickens way out... and had a moving company do all this for me (from westchester NY) -- it was pricey -- but worth it to me -- i had basically a 4 bedroom house full of furniture -- etc.... shipped it all down in one fell swoop -- then they trucked it over and moved it in for me -- they ...

i know its a pain-- but prices from NY are MUCH more reasonable i just found 494 return NONSTOP on delta from JFK for your dates-- might be worth a stay overnight ... and a drive ......

i can't seem to remember how to do the ticker thing.... but arrive in 5 weeks.....

if you are staying over in coral bay (well even if you are not !) you should try the triple b brunch truck-- it parks at oasis on the weekends and mondays (and some other days too!) Indigo grill is good as well (where sputnik/donkey diner used to be ) woodies is supposed to be opening up some sort o...

sounds like you are on American ? if so that Miami terminal and the connections can be a pain (going from D to E)

L and L has an office on St Thomas and on St John -- so you are actually covered if something happens on St John and i am fairly certain you can park in their lot when you are in town -- i have not rented from them before though. Dependable has been decent when i have used them
