Re: What is the BVI Customs Fee
I heard back from the boat captain and he told me that the current fee is $45. From what everyone said here – it looks like the fee is $40. Is it common practice that the fee will vary from one boat rental place to another?

What is the BVI Customs Fee
We will be hiring a boat w/Captain to go to the BVI’s. I sent an email to the place we’re renting the boat from, but in the meantime – does anyone know what the Custom’s Fee is per person to get into the BVI’s?

Bringing back Booze Question
It’s been many many many years since we’ve been to St. John and all the rules have changed. We would bring a soft-sided cooler with us filled with all our frozen meats and such. Then on the return home – we’d stop at K-Mart and load the empty cooler with our allotment of booze and carry it on. So, t...

Re: Saint John info
While on St. Thomas - go to Utter Delight and get an "Adult Milkshake". They are sooooo good. Then take you shake a little further up the hill to a place called Drake's Seat and enjoy the view and your shake. Here is a link to Utter Delight - http://eyechow.com/2013/11/11/udder-delite-milk...

Well – you’re on-island, so there is only one thing to do – start “Limin”. Glad you made it.

Re: Getting to Yost
We are a party of 8 and had the same issue. Decided to charter a boat through St. John Boat Rental. Turns out to be about the same price and we can go anywhere we want. Boat comes with a captain, so we tell him where we want to go and sit back and enjoy. We plan to hit several spots in the BVI's.

Daytrip to Jost Van Dyke
What is the best way to get to Jost Van Dyke from STJ without breaking the budget? And, what is the cost to get from Great Harbour to White Bay?

Re: Question for Florida forumites
First, welcome to Florida. Yep, also welcome to higher airfares to get to the Caribbean. I was always jealous of the folks up north getting cheaper airfares then what we can get here in Florida. You’d think that being closer would be cheaper – nope. We live in the Tampa Bay area and have always paid...

Can' seem to find the "Who's on island calendar"
OK – I’m looking and looking and looking, but I can’t seem to find the calendar of when who’s going to be on-island. I’m sure if it were a snake – I’d be bitten by now.

Thanks liamsaunt, that looks to be the right size for me. Do you have a model number or size so that I can order the same one?

Wire mesh thingy to lock your belongings
I remember reading a while back that someone post a wire mesh product that goes around say your backpack and you can lock it to a tree. Does anyone have an idea what that product is and a web site to it. It would be great to be able to lock you stuff up when at the beach.
