Re: What to do in St. Thomas for 1 and half day
Do some shopping. The Rising Stars Steel Band should be by the downtown post office playing their Christmas music. At sun up in the morning is the challenge of the carols at Emancipation Garden next to the post office. You can beach it after hat!

I haven't but know at least two who have. It works. Make sure you test it before putting your phone in.

Yes, they opened. Food was good, still need to iron out a few kinks. Little noisy for one.

Re: Tonight's House Hunters International Features St John
There are monkeys on STT!?! Sorry, I thought I was clear when I said it. Many years ago, late 60s, there was a guy selling squirrel monkeys on the waterfront. One day they escaped. Must have been at least 10 of them. I watched him from my porch chase them around the roof tops down town. One bit him...

I know we have monkeys down in the western part of St Thomas. Doubt St John. That shot of the roads and brown beach did not look familiar. Closest thing would also be the Botany Bay area, but not.

Just drove up the Hull Bay road and saw it. Definitely the Rising Sum. It is now solely owned by David Geffen.

Re: Tonight's House Hunters International Features St John
Was a great show. I do agree that there probably were many more places to show, however, reality TV us what it is, pretty set up. Perhaps they already had chosen the one they did. I laughed at her objections to the noise so many times and what tickled me was her worry at Grande Bay if there was a ti...

Saw a picture of it on Facebook. Doesn't look familiar. See if you can catch a name on it, then Google it. Answers usually there. That's what I do when I see them here in the harbor!

Glad you had a good time at "Flavors". Couldn't make it; busy weekend over here in STT. Had to escort my mother to a friend's 80th! Stayed at the Beach Villa once. Nice place.

Re: CA ferry vs. RH ferry?
The CA ferries seem to be running on their abbreviated schedule now. If you get there, no need to wait to see as the security guard is still there and they will tell you they are not coming, so your cab can take you to RH. As stated before, if more people used it they will probably add back on the o...

Re: Who will hold our luggage on St. John?
Take the 11:15 ferry to CA or the earlier one 9:15 and the ATS taxi guys will hold your luggage while you shop. You should note that most stores close by 2 on Sundays.
