As I sit here and watch the tropical update and pray everyone in the islands is safe...I can't help but think of my son - who we JUST dropped off at school in Wilmington, NC. Super. Fingers crossed that it takes a little hook out to sea here pretty soon.

We too have done a different place each time.....Cruz Views, houses on Choc. Hole, Reef Bay, Maria Bluff and the Westin. We like trying out new places and areas of the island, too. I have always been curious about Estate Lindholm! Looks like fantastic views! That might have to be our next stop!

Thanks for the support Island girl! I respect the fact that other people have had positive experiences with this company. I too have rented from them twice before with very pleasurable experiences. My experience with them this time was really overall fine - until the ridiculous charge for the sheets...

Well, seems now CV is waiving the bedding charge (which I questioned at almost $400 a TWIN BED - it was Lily!) This never came up until I told them I was going to post on this forum. I hope you finally got out! And PLEASE - we packed that cooler at 56 pounds baby!!! The 6 pound block of dry ice went away before loading the plane! That truly is one hell of a cooler!

I too like Starfish....but now am addicted to the little St. John Market. LOVE this place - and there is a girl that works in there that cracked me up every morning!! I totally have forgotten her name but she was so sweet. On our last day I felt like stopping in and hugging her goodbye!

I have my own reasons for loving St. John and I SOO want other people to get it. Some I know will NEVER get it.....I have a family member that would never get over the chickens at JJs -- which for some reason I LOVE !!!

We ate at Cafe Roma - not as good as it used to be. Pizza was dee lish though!
