The dates for STT Carnival next year will April 22, 2012 to April 28, 2012. Its always been the last week of April. This year was different due to Easter being that week so they pushed carnival a week. But you can usually count on it being the last week of April. The parade is on main street, not wa...

You absolutely can stick with it while you're there. It will take some will power, believe me :-) Fresh fruits and veggies do cost more and tend not to last very long, but you can make a second trip to the store half way through and pick a few more fresh items. Definitely eat more at the villa and m...

Everything on the list above. You definitely need to hit the beaches since she's never been. Magen's Bay - beautiful beach, watch the cruise ship schedule and go on a "no ship" or 1 ship day. It can get crazy when there are 2 or more ships in port. They have chair and water toy rentals, ni...

I had some friends recently stay there and they loved it. The room was clean, staff was nice, they loved hanging out at the pool and the bar while enjoying the view. Only a $5 cab ride to town if you dont want to brave the steep walk down. I have several pics of the room and view on my iPhone. Just ...

St. Thomas carnival is usually last week of April. But with Easter being so late this year they pushed carnival back a week so that it wasn't going on at the same time. All the islands have carnival at different times of the year. I think it's just so that tourists and locals can go to them all lol....

Well, since you should be at the airport by 12:30, I would prob take the 9:30 to leave time for traffic and increased use of the ferry. Then if you get through quick, you can have lunch and a cocktail at Enerald Beach which is on airport road. Enjoy the view before heading to the airport. But I alwa...

I've been looking at the map and picturing the roads and I'm afraid I would get you totally lost and then you'd spend more time finding your way back then just going through the traffic lol. There are some really crazy roads on STT, it took me awhile to learn them. You wouldnt be able to use it as a...

Sunday will be crazy busy through town with the Carnival boat races going on. I would take the north shore route to avoid downtown but if you've never driven it, it's hard to give directions. I can't even guess how much time to tell you if you go through town. I would leave really early and then if ...

I've never seen fireworks on STT. But STJ has a great fireworks show for their carnival / July 4th. So you can either take the ferry over to STJ and enjoy carnival and fireworks, or watch them on STT from the east end. The view from Sapphire would be nice. :-)
