Re: laundromat
You can leave your laundry at the laundromat in the Baked In The Sun complex and it will be ready later that day. They open early. They do a good job and reasonable.

Kev, nice job replying. I enjoy all your posts. You add a lot of positive info to this forum. I don't have a lot of time to jump around to different sites. Afterall, I am retired..

Re: Restaurants open on Thanksgiving
My past experience on Thanksgiving dinner is very slim pickings in Cruz Bay. Lime Inn & High Tide had a turkey dinner on the menu but it wasn't special (IMO). It appears your flight arrives around 4:00 PM. Have you thought about having dinner on STT and then moving on to Red Hook ferry? You woul...

Re: Report - 1st trip to STJ
I'm a big Beach Bar/High Tide guy. I'm very disappointed you had this bad experience. We were last there April/May and the BB did change hands. I noticed some new faces on their web-cam and missed seeing some longtime regular bartenders who were awesome. I'm back in town Nov 2-Nov16 and will definit...

Re: What's up with rental cars to non Americans?
The Westin resort has many non-american guests. Most guests use O'Connor Car Rental located at the resort. I would call or e-mail them for more info. info@oconnorcarrental.com 340-776-6343 office 340-779-4440 Fax I can't imagine thinking about not coming! Find out more details and pack your bags. :)

Re: Restaurant suggestions for late September?
Wow!!.... Another one bites the dust....I should have kept a list of restaurants that have opened and closed in Cruz Bay since 1987. The Terrace was the best dining in this bldg since Al & Lonnie built it as the Stone Terrace. The Lime Inn has survived through all this upheaval of dining spots i...

Re: STJ Burger War
I must admit I go to Skinny's for the novelty. We always stay in Cruz Bay area and my wife acts as though I've been dragging her there for 25 years. I do like the burgers, locals and Coral Bay neighborhood. If Doug started to serve "high tide fries", my life would be a lot easier
