Re: 8 Tuff Miles Trip Report
Loved reading your trip report, thanks for posting it. Congratulations on your 8 Tuff Miles results . . .15th place in your age bracket and an 11 minute mile pace!! I'm hoping for an 11 minute mile in a local 10k which is pretty much flat.

Re: Grande Bay
In June 2011, my husband and I stayed at Seashore Allure for two nights. Since they had availability, they let us stay less than the minimum nights stated on their website and also reduced their price so it was comparable to Grande Bay. Seashore Allure is located down the road where the car ferries ...

Re: Updating St John Google Maps
I don't know how the map gets updated, I have a villa to add. Caribbean Sunrise is located on the far east end of the island. Take East End Rd 10 go past Sloop Jones studio then turn left on Privateer Road, take the second right, it's the last house at the end of the road with a white roof. It sits ...

Re: Villa choices
My husband and I stayed in a villa located in Privateer Bay last June. We loved it!! We have been to STJ 5 times and have stayed at various locations. I love staying on different parts of the island because it makes for a different trip. The Privateer Bay association has its own beach plus you are a...

Re: Home for two with pool and AC
We stayed at Drakes Lookout several years ago which is directly below One Particular Harbour. The views are amazing. The master bedroom suite is the only bedroom with a/c. It is separate from the rest of the villa and is located at the end of the driveway (outside the kitchen door). The master bedro...

Re: What has been your favorite villa and why?
Our favorite 5 bedroom villa is Eden's Whim located in Chocolate Hole. The villa is very private and sits on 2 acres which is beautifully landscaped. All bedrooms were air conditioned and had their own bathroom. The master bedroom was larger than the other 4 bedrooms, but the other bedrooms were com...

I am so glad your nephew is having the time of his life. And you are such a great aunt to give him a nudge to apply for the program. I live in Richmond, well Chesterfield, but close enough. My husband and I are leaving for St. John Tuesday morning. Let me know if there is anything you would like to ...

In June my husband and I stayed at Seashore Allure condominiums for three nights. We were able to negotiate the price to be comparable to Grande Bay and they allowed us to stay below their minimum night requirement. It's a short walk to town, down the road from the car ferry. The condomiums are gorg...
