Re: Your favorite womens watershoe
I bought the Teva Northwater shoes for my trip last summer and love them. They are lightweight, not bulky, comfortable and stylish (at least in my opinion). They look great with shorts, jeans and capris. The strap can be worn around the ankle (like Mary Jane's) or behind the ankle (as a slip-on shoe...

I do not use the techni ice or and do not have any frozen liquids. The meat arrives fully frozen. We use the 24 can siz...

I second Eden's Whim. We just returned from our second stay there. All 5 bedrooms are great sizes, wonderful outdoor space, and a large pool to accommodate the entire group. Absolutely beautiful.

Also, if you have never rented a dingy it is so worth it. Looking at the beaches you love from the water is great. We only stopped at beaches where we could bring the dingy up on the beach. There was no way that I was going to try to get into a dingy from the water.

Easy access beaches are Lameshur (rough, bumpy road), Haulover, and Vie's where you can snorkel Pelican Rock. Brown Bay is great, and you will most likely have the beach to yourself, but there is a hike involved. If you are adventurous, you may want to snorkel the mangroves in Princess Bay. The wate...

Trip Report June 12 - 21, 2013 Part 2
Friday, June 14, we were on St. John the same time as the Sahara dust. So the temperature was cooler than we anticipated and it was pretty hazy each day. The breeze from the trade winds on the east end of the island is amazing. In June, we actually got chilly at night without a/c. We decided to stay...

Cool plant at the ruins, I think it's an agave plant. Look at how large it is.

Trip Report June 12 - 21, 2013 part 1
My husband and I took our sixth trip to St. John. This is the first time we stayed in a previous villa we rented. We loved Caribbean Sunrise located in Privateer Bay on the east end of the island (over the hill from Sloop Jones) so had to stay again this year. Very private, we actually feel like we ...
