They were having a West Indian night recently, which my husband and I really enjoyed. Great food, and very friendly people in the kitchen!

Sun Dog has recently started doing Sunday brunch, so if you get a chance, I'd definitely recommend you stop in for that. I ate there recently and ordered the crab benedict, and I was very impressed...the crab was actual real crab, like fresh out of the shell. I'd say their Sunday brunch is the best ...

I put my maid of honor and bridesmaid at the Inn at Tamarind Court for my wedding this past June, and they enjoyed it. You're right about it being more basic than luxurious, but from what I could tell, it was clean and they felt safe and comfortable. They really enjoyed hanging out at the bar while ...

I work a professional job here on island. I gave such good directions b/c I live back in that neighborhood. It's pretty much a local's neighborhood, besides the trailside villa. It's a great area!

At Supreme Corner (the 180 degree turn just after Pastory Gardens), instead of taking that turn, you go straight back into a neighborhood by the dumpster. Follow that road back, continue bearing to the left, and finally make a right up an EXTREMELY steep (but paved) driveway, and the villa is up the...

The pasta at Livio's definitely tastes better than the 89 cent stuff out of a box. No, it isn't fresh yet, but the quality of the dish, to me, is worth the price, and it will be even more so when they do start making pasta right in the restaurant. And yes, it's totally authentic Italian...the chef d...

Dolphin Market will actually be leasing space in the building, which is still under construction across from Palm Plaza. The site has been cleared and as far as I can tell, the beginning stages of construction have begun.

You missed the previous entry, where the woman called to report her roommate using foul language and cursing at her. Sounds like a fun household!

I will second that the mosquitos are BAD right now...the worst I've seen in the nearly two years I've been here. I don't know if your newbies will have this problem, but being "fresh blood," I was eaten alive my first month on island, even though the mosquitos were not bad at that time. Ad...

Despite the bad publicity they've gotten recently, I vote for Jet Blue. They have comfortable seats with a lot of leg room, TVs in each of the headrests with movies showing and several TV channels you can watch as well. We had our choice of free snacks (every other airline I've been on in the past y...
