We are also using the same rental agency. Since we'll be there at the same time I would love to meet you two. We're staying at Grande Bay so we'll be in town every night.

Re: back by popular demand
Very sorry to hear, papadou. Great folks at Emory. My daughter survived two bouts with leukemia and two bone marrow transplants there. And, now she is a nurse on the very same bone marrow transplant floor where she spent 160 nights as a patient. Best wishes for a full recovery!

Re: Other Islands...Which one would you choose?
I think our next four Caribbean trips will be:
1. St John (already booked)
2. Virgin Gorda/Jost van Dyke combo
3. St John
4. Bequia
Like others, we love St John but want to branch out a little (well I do, anyway. I think my wife would be happy never going anywhere but St John).

Re: Love City Country Fest 2015
Jim, we've got Captain John reserved for Monday that week and decided to keep it there and take the ferry over to Jost on Thursday. Hope that ferry boat doesn't sink under the weight of all the extra riders.
Augie, you'll love my new shirt. Red aloha shirt with black palm trees and a big ol G.

The lineup is announced, and tickets go on sale Saturday. I've never heard of any of them, but that's ok, they're gonna get me back to the island.

Shark Week
I HATE SHARK WEEK!
I guess this happens to everybody, but the older I get the more aware I am of risks. I'm just gonna have to block the Discovery Channel I think. Otherwise I might never snorkel again. And I love to snorkel.

Re: Coral Bay Marina
Yeah, it seems that this proposal is just way too grandiose for the location. I have no clue about the economics of owning and operating a marina but I would hope that something far smaller in scope could work. Because the island does need a marina of some sort.

Re: 5 couples next year...villa help please
We stayed at Casa del Sol before. It's perfect for four couples since it has 4 equal bedrooms. Right at 10 minutes from Cruz Bay if I recall correctly. It's above your budget at the regular price but they are running a special now. You might ask if you could get that rate for next summer. http://www...
