I paid $347 for NS JFK to STT Jan 3rd - 11th 2011, American Airlines. I figured it wasn't too bad considering I paid $359 for my tickets in mid May of last year.

Umm no I have not been on that part of the drive. I imagine it must be quite exciting to have a bus in front and a long way down on your side lol.

You could take the bus. Get on just around the corner from skinny legs. Costs $2, I think and is scary as H E double hockey sticks going around those corners but... will get you back to Cruz Bay.
