Re: Car rental companies demanding letter from insurance com
Have you rented from Courtesy before? The last 2 times I've used them a copy of my State Farm insurance card and using an American Express has been sufficient. The last time I used them was last year. We leave in 27 days (yay!).

Re: VRBO has initiated their new service fee
This will be our last trip to STJ for a while. Airfare is killing us. I was able to find a "steal" for our trip in June at $620pp. Today those same tickets are $750 and I'm talking coach, not the Comfort+ upgrade nor first class. This year there are 4 of us (bringing the teens) vs 2 so we ...

Thanks everyone for your replies. Since we are taking the teens the adults picked a few we could afford and let the boys decide. Blue Palm Villa won! Looking forward to our June Trip!

Re: One Particular Harbor vs Sunnyledge
I stayed at OPH a couple of years ago. Loved the villa and the view is awesome. The sliding doors open up the view into the main living area and it was nice to have AC in the bedroom. Pool was chilly though if that's important. This was in July also, so it would probably be even chillier in June. I...

One Particular Harbor vs Sunnyledge
Good morning! We are doing the dreaded villa search for our June trip and have been surprised at how many villas are already booked. Has anyone stayed at OPH or Sunnyledge recently? I know these are drastically different villas in regards to pool and location. Our dilemma is we have always had a poo...

Re: OK, I think I have to give up reading
Maybe people researching their first trip will choose another island and leave more room for us . I know if I read all of this before booking a brand new place I'd look elsewhere. HA!

Names on the Left
It's been a while since I can put our name on the "on island" list on the side of the page and I forgot how to do it. Can anyone assist me?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I understand your excitement as we are going on our 2nd trip in June. Here's a list of what we did on our first 10 day trip. I'm posting all so you can choose. We wouldn't change a thing! 1. Our first day we hiked early morning to Saloman. Wow is about all I can say. 2. Francis is my favorite place ...

Re: Where have you stayed?
First trip: Astral Ridge on Calabash Boom. I really hate we stayed here first because everything will now be compared to this and it's really hard to imagine something better! Second trip coming up: Blue Bay View on Bourdeaux Mt. It's a new rental and we'll be sure to leave a review when we return! ...

Re: Dealing with shore urchins
Somehow when I read "shore urchins" I was thinking you were talking about people laid out all over the place blocking a path to the beach . I'm sorry, it's early here and I'm in the process of drinking coffee.

Re: Miss Lucy's Full Moon Party
I'd like to know this as well. We'll be arriving June 2 and the calendar says it's a full moon :D . I'd like to do a full moon party on Tortola at the Bomba Shack, but I don't think we'll make it there this time as we'll have my 15 yo son in tow. We LOVE Banana Deck and plan to go there our first ni...
