Check out La Collina through Caribbean Villas. We stayed here a few years back with small children. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs (attached to greatroom), 2 down (outside entry). However, each bedroom has a pull out couch. The bedrooms are large enough that when the couches are open, there is ample ...

I am not certain. When we snorkeled, I have one of those water proof containers that I put money, cc and car keys in and take with us. They didn't go after my beach bag that had all of the "good" stuff, because it was in between our chairs. I think the bag was taken out of convenience and ...

Snorkel gear "missing" from Francis Bay

Just wanted to remind everyone to watch their belongings closely while vacationing. Late in the day last Sunday (before Easter) my husband and I were at Francis. I got all of our things ready to leave. I rinsed all of our snorkel gear and hung the bag in the tree by our chairs, so that it wouldn't g...

We just returned and the construction at Maho was not that bad. They are tearing down the old green buidling and have a bulldozer there to remove it. The noise was not bad at all.

Attacked by a deer at Trunk Bay!!!

On Saturday we were sitting on Trunk Bay. My father's wife had her head buried in her book, while I sat nearby napping. When all of a sudden I heard my hubby call Karen's name. Just then, we both looked up and wham!!! A deer, small rack, had come out of the brush onto the beach and was re-entering t...

Afternoon in Charlotte Amalie

We will be "on island" in 1 week!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

My father's wife and I will be escaping to Charlotte Amalie for a day. Any suggestions on where to eat and any must sees? We aren't looking for any taxi rides. Just pretty much staying in the area and doing some shopping.

If you have the need to ask for opinions/support from the forum, in your heart of hearts, you already know what your decision should be. Even if your wife said sincerely, "No honey, you go." you would feel guilty the whole time there. Let alone the length of time at home, between your retu...

I know this has been asked 1000 times...shipping a box ahead

I apologize for being repetative, but I used the search option and am having a hard time finding the info I am looking for. We are a family of 6 and are staying at the Westin for 2 weeks and are considering shipping a box of some food items in advance and I was wondering the following: For those who...
