Re: Flight Change Debacle - Call for Suggestions
After reading this I went and check my flights because I leave the next day after you. AA is still showing the 4:05 flight to MIA on the 12th. Looks like the culprit may be your flight from MIA to DTW, looks as though they eliminated the direct flight there and now have only connecting flights.

Re: I have a size problem
Budget rents to persons under 25. I believe it's a bit more expensive and a special waiver needs to be signed. It was many moons ago for me when I did this.

Re: Ireland?
I've been twice. If you are looking to do more rural Ireland I suggest the West coast and South. Fly in to Shannon, rent a car and drive. Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Cork, Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Moor and Galway are some of my favorites. We ended both trips with a train ride from the West to Dubli...

I bought our pop up tent from One Step Ahead. They don't have their summer stuff out yet, but probably will in the next month or two. I bought ours last March. You could probably find one on Amazon too.

Re: Travel tips for bringing a 15-month old to STJ
Honestly, I actually never had to put bug spray on her. Both times we went (Apr & Aug), it was fairly dry and there wasn't a huge no-seeum problem. Then again, we stay at Sapphire on STT and with the breeze from the water, the bugs are minimal. I heard the Honest Company has a great bug spray fo...

Re: Travel tips for bringing a 15-month old to STJ
Hi!, My daughter is 19 mos and will be going on her 3rd trip down to STT in April. So I have a few tips for you. 1) Bring your car seat. USVI has the same laws as the main land concerning this. A car seat is required for travel in a car. Also, you don't want to rent one. It may be expired, and or be...

D.C restaurant recommendations
Hi All, Hubby and I are taking short weekend vacation in April to DC. I've now gotten to planning the best part of vacationing, the food. I am completely overwhelmed by the choices. It seems like there a so many fine dining establishments. Hubby and I are foodies, but don't like the idea of having t...

Spice Cam issue?
Is anyone been having an issue with the spice cam link lately? Don't know if it's just Chrome that can't connect to it, or if the site is down.

So to pick up where I left off.. August 19th; STJ beach day. Every year I look forward to spending a day bumming it on one of STJ's beaches. This year only myself, my husband, and brother in law took the car ferry over as the rest decided because of the little ones nap schedules they would head to M...

Trip Report part 3
August 17th: Another pool gravity day Since this was my sister and her family's first full day we decided to keep it close and just hang around Sapphire. We did some snorkeling and saw tons of fish and ran into a school of about 30 black squid. Very cool. For dinner we went over for to Sangria's at ...

Aug 14th: Boat Day This is the day I look forward to most everytime we go down. There is nothing like a day out on the water island hopping. In previous years, we have taken the Stormy Petral mostly due to the fact that everyone wants to go and they can accommodate large groups. This was not the cas...
