Re: Coral Bay Restaurants
We just got back from our annual trip! Rhumb Lines' new location in Coral Bay has the same feel as their former location, just bigger. It was great, as always, and there were two sweet resident cats to keep us entertained.

Re: Marriage Officiant
My sister got married on St. John in 2016 and a member of the groom's family got ordained in order to perform the ceremony. He had to go to the court house on STT with the couple to complete the paperwork. Note that you have to be dressed up to go to the court house. My sister had a sleeveless dress...

Re: STT Taxi with Car seat
I have a 5 year old and an 8 year old, and they've both been going to STJ since they were a year old. We've always taken their car seats on board the planes. We bought inexpensive (~$35) Cosco brand seats at Wal-Mart for airplane travel and it's worked very well for us.

Get Daphne( or any Red Cap) porter to eliminate the wait time at the airport. Dave/Bigcheeze Enjoy The Journey We always use a porter, and we still have to wait in line to check in at the airport. Having a porter can save some time getting through the customs line, but I've never saved time at chec...

Re: American Airline 3 hour check-in?
I don't know if this information is still current, but in the past, the reason for the 3 hour requirement was because the same employees who did check in would leave the front desk to go work as gate agents. I've heard horror stories, but I don't know if things are still as bad as they've been in th...

The last I heard, they were still figuring out a new place to go, but that was a couple months ago.
Their website is still showing Hansen, so it's not been updated:

How did Salomon look? Right after Irma, there was almost no sand left, but I've seen some recent pictures where some of the sand had come back. We'll soon be on island for 16 nights, year #16! :D T-Rae, Salomon looked great...it looked like it used to :) Didn't take my camera that day...sorry. That...

Re: On island with 3-year-old in July - ideas?
My girls are 5 and 8 and have been going to STJ annually since they were 1 year old each. One thing that kids don't typically care for is sunblock application (and we use the reef-safe type that has physical barrier, not chemical barrier ingredients, which is thicker and harder to spread), so we alw...

The Animal Care Center just posted this on their FB page so I thought I'd pass it along, since you're there: The ACC is looking for escorts for kittens to Boston. The kittens will fly in soft sided carriers below the seats. Escorts on American and Delta can take 2 kittens per carrier. One kitten per...
