Re: Groceries
I think the Gourmet Gallery carries international varieties...there are 2 locations, 1 in Havensight and 1 in Crown Bay right by Tickles Dockside Pub. I know that I have bought better Danish Blue Cheese at either one than I get here in NYC !

Re: where to park our car?
They do short/long term parking near the pate shack or down by the employee parking area although I don't know the rates.

Re: Vendor's Plaza location
Honestly, I hated the look of it...sorry for the owners but the Vendors Market in town is so colorful that I always wander in there at some point during my stay, usually I allow myself one "Town" day to wander about, soak up the shops color, have lunch at Cuzzin's etc. I thought that new a...

Re: Shopping
Same scams on fake Coach, Gucci etc as anywhere else...shop at Yacht Haven for real merchandise, all you save is tax though. Don't be fooled by Vendors Mart or anywhere like that.

Food Center would be cheaper than Marina Market on all counts and yes, they have plenty of aerosol sunscreen.

Just like anywhere else...
Just like any town there are places where one should not put themselves after dark. In your town it may be near the airport or behind the train station, in St. Thomas it is Coki Beach area and the end of town nearest the airport. Local inhabitants work all day (or maybe not...) and may want to party...

I will be staying at my condo for the month of May and was wondering if there might be any local long(ish) term rental place instead of big business like Avis etc. Just local driving in and arounf Mahogany Run. Thanks in advance, Debbie

Pikstarkle theater
I saw Jesus Christ Superstar there and enjoyed it immensely. We didn't have a reservation but a few words with the house manager got us 2 seats (not together) but we were happy since we are involved with Community Theater at home in NYC. The dress was much more formal than any of the restaurants we'...

I had a 2 hr layover in San Juan and found a really nice wifi cafe to settle down in. They had delicious homemade soups, crepes, sandwiches and the usual sodas etc. The terminal is vee shaped and this cafe was to the right as I exited the plane area. There are not many choices for food other than th...
