Minde - LOL - - sometimes I think it would be easier to start with a block of ice and a chainsaw and make an ice sculpture rather than trying to carve a dog out of a mess of tangles and uneven outgrowth - lol. Gina - DVD??? I got this video so long ago that DVDs weren't even a gleam in a techie's ey...

XOXO - I've never used one like that - it's probably a new style. Mine is pretty old - I have replaced the blades twice. It looks like a slightly smaller version of this one: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31EVvmIKmKL._SL500_AA280_.jpg I like this one because I can get all the way through the...

What a CUTE ‘Doodle! Currently, we have a Maltese mix that has a bit of Poodle in him. Maltese hair is like human hair in that there is no undercoat so it mats and snarls easily. Throw in a little bit of Poodle and the coat is much more dense and tends to mat even more. With a Labradoodle you are fi...

It is, but you can't share files as easily. You can make your file in GM and then open it in GE to get the file to share, though - I think that's a kmz file or some acronym like that.

Sherban - here's a link to my map-in-progress for STT, if any of this helps you - Fungi's is on there - the general location - for some reason it does not show up that well. If you don't want to walk down (and then back up on a full stomach) from Point Pleasant, you can get to it from Pineapple Beac...

I was corn-fussed - you are correct. I was getting a number of apps last night, some free, some not, and this one WAS $.99. Apologies. Well worth the price, though, especially since it updated its calendar right after I downloaded it.

iPhone / iPod Touch App for USVI

Not sure if this has been posted by someone previously but I just came across this last night - a really nice, free app for the USVI called myVI - has a calendar of events, attractions, dining, beaches, travel info, phone directory, misc. info and trivia about/for all three islands.

We used a bungee cargo net one time - got it at the local auto parts store. Something like this:

http://www.tarpsplus.com/bungeecargonet.html

We brought a couple of extra bungee cords in various sizes to work with the net to make it snug.

Hagarty has some great products. I bought a couple of the smaller zippered silver cloth bags and I keep my SS pieces in those. They also have some great cleaners: http://www.silvergiftstore.com/silverkeepers.html The other type of cleaner I have used is the one with the metal plate - you use hot wat...
