Drumbiker,
My group of 7 will be on island this Saturday as well!! Maybe we will bump into you on a beach or a watering hole, although we are Cruz Bay people.

Re: Villa suggestions much needed.
Philbetm, Regarding La Tete Rouge, from what I was told there is a full bath in the main house that the loft bedroom can use and if you close the shutter the main room AC will cool the loft. Another option if you want Virgin Grand Estates is Cocotier by Destinationstjohn.com Looks available and in b...

Chateau Le Tete Rouge might work (it looks like it is available for your week and within budget). I almost booked it this year, but our group grew too big for it. Has the Rendezvous Bay view of Tesori and great outdoor space. It is with cateredto.com

Re: Sea's Edge Villa
Thanks Becky. We booked Sea's Edge. Catered To has been great and we are very excited about this villa. Apparently it was a private home and is new to the rental market. The outside space absolutely sold me too! I will post a report/pics/villa review after our trip (not until May).

Sea's Edge Villa
Hello everyone,
We had booked Esperanza for our trip this coming May but have learned that the renovations will not be completed. We have graciously been offered Sea's Edge by Catered To. Does anyone know anything about this villa?

Re: Sad
I think I have been on this board (and its VIOL predecessor) for about 15 years. Yikes - where does the time go! I admit, when I go a few years between trips I don't check in as often. But once I get one booked (yeah for my new ticker!) I am more of a daily lurker. I do try and post trip reports tho...

Finally planning a trip back after three years. Looking at Blue Papaya, Coco Caribe, White Cottage Cocotier. Does anyone have any knowledge about these particular villas? Thanks!

Check out boatday.vi The captain is Kevin McKinney who was the original owner of Born to Rhumb - great guy. Highly recommend.

Coco Caribe
Hi everyone,
I can't believe it's been 3 years since my last trip to St. John, but it looks like I might be putting together a "last minute" trip for this May. Does anyone have any info about Coco Caribe?

I highly recommend Born to Rhumb. Our boat day with them is always our favorite day of the vacation. They will tailor the trip for you, the boat is comfortable and Shane and Andi are fabulous hosts.

I second Born to Rhumb. We have been out with them many times and it always the highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
