Re: Say No To Captive Dolphins In The USVI
I expected this petition to be "clean", TBH. But as 54b says, they are "tricky". I am pretty sure I tried to make it clear on the petition (to whatever point one can) that I didn't want to join this and that or whatever. It's really a big shame we get scammed like this by places ...

Re: Say No To Captive Dolphins In The USVI
Interestingly, I just got an email thanking me for joining the Sierra Club. I did not join the Sierra Club. The email came to the email address I used to sign this petition. I usually stay far away from signing petitions, because of the chugging that follows. I felt very strongly about the dolphins;...

Re: Snorkel gear "missing" from Francis Bay
Some creep actually stole my towel last year off the beach recliner. A stinkin' towel!
I decided I was only going to take the rattiest ones to the beach after that.
It sucks when you realize that you can't even wear your hat and sunglasses down and park them while you snorkel.

Another signature added!
Thank you, everyone; thank you, Fiona.
I can't believe a place would actually be considering an enormity like this.

Just jumpin' in here -- isn't Craig & Sally's closed forever? Something I heard. Please clarify. Thanks!

any info on that maritime Hit and run?
Just read about a boat sinking in a hit and run: "A 31-foot fiberglass Bertram powerboat sank off Steven Cay and Mingo Rock between St. Thomas and St. John this week." Read more: http://virginislandsdailynews.com/news/boat-sinks-off-st-john-in-maritime-hit-and-run-1.1289104#ixzz1pzLzyGRN I...

How Do I Wash My Duffy's Tee Shirt?
So, I have a Duffy's Love Shack Tee Shirt; it's white with the little yellow logo and black cap sleeves.
If I wash this with the dark wash, the white part will turn dingy. If I wash it with the white tees and use a little bleach the black sleeves will turn indifferent.
What would you do?

Many, many years ago for some reason we had to take a taxi one time in STT. It was a horrible experience. The guy didn't seem to know where anything was and he grumbled, shouted at us and acted insane the entire time. I hear now and again how car renting will be/should be abolished on STT due to con...

Morning Grey
That was some downpour in the early morning. So far just leaves and stems missing from my local vine. Hope all is well elsewhere.
Quite grey out there with the thickest smudge of cloud right where the sun should be.

Dry Island
Just a dry note: One of Wapa's boilers broke earlier this week and as a result STT is pretty dry with water rationing for a few hours every day. Went to a Red Hook restaurant last night and the said they couldn't give me tap water because of the water problem so I'd have to have bottled water. Wonde...

Advice here for Sales Persons in Charlotte Amalie
Hi! I'm here right now :-) I restocked on my La Prairie Day Cream and Night Cream. My husband said soon they'll have an Afternoon Cream. We went into the newly moved and revamped large jewelery store and nearly got eaten alive by the sales help. OMG, we literally could not take a step without being ...
