We too are going down, staying in Coral Bay, leaving the 21 from Atlanta for 10 days. We are also from Atlanta! Small world. Our paths surely may cross :D

One of our favorite days is to hike to Salomon (starting at the national park office), hand there, then walk to honeymoon and end up at Caneel for drinks and app or lunch.....depending on how long we stay at the beach...take taxi back to Cruz Bay

for our large group trip, we hired a driver to take us all over the island. she also was on call to take us where and pick us up. she has a hugh open air safari truck and she is extremely reliable. There is an unbelievably easy recipe for fish tacos on epicurious.com......look for the one that has chiles in adobo sauce, very spicy. Do it just like they say. This site has customer reviews and it is a top rated recipe.....Enjoy...couldn't be easier...

We ordered large dinners (for 8) twice, breakfast once, and welcome tray, during our stay in May. All of it was incredible!!! Cannot recommend the chef enough. We purchased delivered meals. The breakfast meal (eggs benedict) was cooked by the chef because she was concerned about the hollandaise. All...

Thanks for the great trip report. I know what you mean about going with a big group. I planned a trip for 10 and it was much harder. We did hire a driver which made all the difference in the world. I agree with yo about staying in town. It is really easy. This last trip we stayed in Virgin Grand Estates in a villa with 4 other couples.
